Paarl Cricket Club’s AGM will take place on Tuesday, 22 August 2023 @19h00, Boland Cricket Sport Grounds Indoors.

Paarl Cricket Club also started with Pre-Season training on Tuesdays at Boland Cricket Indoors 18h00 till 20h00 and Thursdays 17h00 to 19h00. Any new players who would like to join can make contact with Club Coach Manfred De Kock [071 898 8265].

At last week’s Exco meeting of the Paarl Cricket Club, exciting plans were revealed for the 2021 / 22 season, which all hope will not be affected by the pandemic.

Paarl finished 3^rd on the Boland Premier League log at the end of the 2019 / 20 season but were restricted to 5 friendly encounters last season, due to Covid 10 protocols. Coach Manfred De Kock has been contacted by a few exciting new prospects and he plans to get a squad together early in June. Players may call him on 071 898 8265 for more details.

The club’s 30^th anniversary will be celebrated with a full day’s activities on Friday 24 September 2021, where the club’s Life Members will be honoured. Two T20 matches (Over 40’s and a Paarl first team) will provide entertainment.

Chairman Garron Arendse also announced that a Six a Side competition is planned for December, while a Drive By fundraiser is planned for Saturday 5^th June. Orders for half a barbecued chicken, two salads and a roll may be ordered @ R70 by calling Garron (0839262667) or Lyndon (0827105116) before end May.
